Golden necklace

Hellenistic period (3rd - 2nd cent. B.C.)

Consists of a chain terminating in a fastening formed with two lion heads. The hoop is attached to one's mouth and the hook to the other's. An amethyst suspends from the center of the chain and two small chains of different dimensions suspend from it, terminating in semicircular foils. There is also a third chain from which a small Eros suspends.
