The George Tsolozidis Collection exhibited on this website includes more than 2.000 objects. The Collection offers a thorough view of the achievements and conquests recorded in the history of Greek art, starting from the earliest Neolithic times (4.000 B.C. – 3.200 B.C.), i.e., at the dawn of the Greek pre-history, up to the post-Byzantine period (1.600 A.D. – 1.800 A.D.), i.e., at the advent of Greek modern history. Due to the chronological variety that characterizes the artifacts belonging to the George Tsolozidis Collection and also their unique historical narrations, parts of the Collection have been presented in temporary exhibitions hosted by museums and foundations in Greece, Europe, and the United States. Particular artifacts are on a permanent display in Greek public and private museums to which they are donated.
