Archaic period
W: 7.30 cm H: 18.10 cm

Flat-bodied figurine of a standing female figure; mould-made of pure rosy clay. Off-white slip. Bound hair, framed by a band elliptical in shape, which is probably a polos. Above the forehead, spiral protrusion. Spiraling lock on the forehead. Eyes are rendered in dots. The polos is indicated by a line that differentiates it from the face while it is decorated with a series of concentric semicircles. On the chest, three ornaments of intersecting lines, zig-zag and alternating edges. Boeotian workshop.
